Five faceted, glass-topped pods radiate off a single curved deck, each one a room unto itself — bedroom, home office, living, kitchen — knit together under one continuous board-formed concrete roofline. A detached garage anchors the drive, and down at the water a matching pyramid-roofed boathouse holds the catamaran, jet skis, and a private dock deck of its own.
Contemporary Pavilion breaks the house apart into pieces and lets each one stand on its own. Five faceted pods — bedroom, primary suite, living, kitchen, bath — radiate off a single continuous deck, each glazed generously at the corners and capped with its own conical skylight monitor, so every room reads as a small pavilion in its own right rather than a wing off a larger mass. A board-formed concrete roof plane ties the whole cluster together overhead, curving to follow the deck below it, while the pods themselves are raised on piers above the sloping lawn.
Inside, each pod keeps its own character while staying visually connected to the next. The kitchen wraps a curved island in glazing on three sides, mountain and lake views following you around the counter; step through the opening and the living room picks up under its own skylight monitor, timber posts framing a wet bar that looks straight out at the dock and the catamaran beyond. A home office tucks a full library wall — rolling ladder included — into the pod nearest the water, while the bedroom pod turns away from the lake toward the trees, its own gas fireplace glowing just outside the glazing on the deck.
The compound extends well past the house itself: a detached two-car garage picks up the same pyramid roof language and sits at the top of the driveway, and down at the water's edge a matching boathouse holds the catamaran, a pair of jet skis, and its own dock deck for lounging and dining dockside. Between the spa tucked into the rear deck and the boat and water toys at the shoreline, this is a compound built as much for entertaining and recreation as for the rooms themselves.
